The morning report for July 15, 1944 on page 39 lists him joining L Company together with several other officers from HQ 329th Infantry on July 15, 1944. Page 46, for July 17, 1944 lists him as severely wounded in action and transferred to the 34th Evacuation Hospital. Page 75 lists him returning to duty on July 21, 1944 and the same page lists him killed in action. All relevant pages can be seen below. |
