Remarks First Lieutenant Olson joined the 330th as a member of H Company. The morning report for July 17, 1944 on page 23 lists him joining H Company from the 41st Replacement Battalion and he was assigned to the Mortar Section as a 2LT.

The morning report for December 10, 1944 on page 10 lists him a 1LT and lightly injured in action on December 5, 1944 but he remained on duty. Page 20, for December 20, 1944, shows him assigned to A Company 330th. The morning report for A Company confirms this.

The A Company morning report for December 29, 1944 on page 42 lists him as severly wounded and transferred to a Field Hospital on December 25, 1944. The pages can be seen below.
