Remarks First Lieutenant Disclafani was a member of A Company. The morning report for August 2, 1944 on page 5 shows him joining A Company from the 41st Replacement Battalion per July 29, 1944. The same morning report for August 8, 1944, on page 11, lists him killed in action, 1944. Both pages can be seen below.

Pieter Oosterman at www.m-1helmet.com mailed me that he owns the helmet of 1LT Disclafani. Evidence for this is in the the laundry mark which says D6994 (D for Disclafani and the last 4 digits of his serial) and the name Disclafani written with pencil. A picture of the helmet can be seen below
