| Remarks | 2nd Lieutenant Hammonds was a member of F Company. The morning report for July 13, 1944 on page 34 lists him joining F Company together with several other officers on July 9, 1944. The morning report for August 13, 1944 on page 21 lists him as killed in action on August 5, 1944 together with two other officers but he is listed as a First Lieutenant. This error is corrected on page 31. All pages can be seen below. |
