| Remarks | Captain Peterson was a member of E Company. The morning report for Jul 19, 1944 on page 66 lists him joining E Company from HQ 329th Infantry Regiment. Page 92 for July 26, 1944 lists him as severly wounded in action and transferred to the 103rd Evacuation Hospital. Page 66 and 92 can be seen here. The author of this website assumes that Captain Peterson was transferred to England but died of his wounds and was buried there. |
