Remarks According to the memoirs of Frank Monan, Co. A 331st, Private Kenneth Hatcher arrived on the battlefield on the 24th of July, 1944 as a rifleman in 2nd Platoon, A Company. Frank Monan also recollects finding him. Private Hatcher is also mentioned in a display the Normandy Cemetery Visitor Center. The morning report for July 22, 1944 on page 42 and 43 lists him joining the unit from the 48th Replacement Battalion on July 20, 1944. Page 64, for July 31, 1944, lists him as killed in action on July 27, 1944. The pages can be seen below.
