Remarks	According to the memoirs of Frank Monan, Co. A 331st, Pfc. William A Wilkerson was a member of Company A . The 331st Casualty Report (page 3, #121) for 1944 lists Pfc. Wilkerson as member of A Co. The morning reports confirm this. Private First Class Wilkerson was a member of A Company. The morning report for July 10, 1944 on page 13 and 14 lists him joining the unit from the 92nd Replacement Battalion on July 8, 1944. Page 54, for July 25, 1944, lists his status changed to missing in action per July 20, 1944. The morning report for August 3, 1944 on page 9, lists his status changed from missing in action to killed in action on July 29, 1944. The relevant pages can be seen below.
