The morning report for October 12, 1944 on page 15 corrects the latter entry to read that he joined from the 53rd Replacement Battalion. The morning report for December 8, 1944 on page 14 lists him as severely wounded in action and transferred to the 13th Field Hospital on December 5, 1944. Page 42, for December 20, 1944, corrects this entry to read that he died of wounds on December 5, 1944.
