| Remarks | Technical Sergeant Simechack was a member of K Company. The morning report for July 5, 1944 on page 6 lists him as severely wounded in action. Page 10, for July 6, 1944 shows him lightly wounded in action and transferred to the 34th Evacuation Hospital. The morning report for October 7, 1944 on page 7 lists him returning to duty on October 2, 1944. All relevant pages can be seen below. Since we have no later documents we assume that Technical Sergeant Simechak died while serving in K Company. |
