The morning report for July 11, 1944 on pages 19, 20 and 21 list him joining the unit from the 48th Replacement Battalion on July 7, 1944. Page 37, for July 19, 1944, lists him as killed in action. The morning report for December 21, 1944 on page 36 corrects the latter entry to killed in action on July 18, 1944. The pages can be seen below.
