He received his early education in Our Mother of Consolation School, Mount Carmel, and later attended Conyngham Township High School, Aristes, PA. He became tipple man at Hazle Brook Coal Co.'s breaker at Midvalley, PA, where he was enganged at the time he was called to military service February 14, 1944. |
